Made in the hand. A little different.

Workshop illustration: cloth, clay cups and a handmade spherical robot shell on a wooden bench
On the bench in the archived week 27 September–3 October 2151: the last coat of wax is still to come. Workshop illustration, not a documentary photograph.

AW-18 / Pocket companion shell

A garment for Pockot: wooden fasteners, cotton and a hand-smoothed white shell. You can still feel the seams when it is folded.

No duplicate / one piece

AW-16 / Off-centre cup

The rim was never made perfectly round. The handle turns inward; each thumb finds its own place.

Clay / no duplicate

AW-11 / Long-road bag

Two layers of old cloth. A removable base leaves room for later repairs.

Cotton and linen / no duplicate

AW-18 is the unique commissioned shell for the P1-AW18-display specimen. Its additional mass is undetermined; standard P1 parameters do not describe the shell-equipped object.
